Story

Hi there friends 

 

I'm gearing up to make a difference by fundraising for a cause that's close to my heart, NSW Police Legacy. 

If you can help me to make a difference, I would be so grateful! As many of you would know, my dad was a Policeman. His name is Keith. Dad was the Sergeant at West Wallsend in 1980 when he was killed on duty at Mt Sugarloaf. I was the eldest of 3 children at 14, my sister Simone was 12 and Kathy had only 5 days earlier turned 7. Mum was left in a world of uncertainty, without the love of her life and 3 young children to raise. Hard times indeed for our family. NSW Police Legacy was established to assist families who found themselves in such unfortunate circumstances. 

I love this charity and if you can donate to my page and help me fundraise it would be so awesome!

    The Trustee For NSW Police Legacy

    NSW Police Legacy is the NSW Police Force Charity. Established in 1987 it was initially founded to support the bereaved families following the loss of their loved one. Now, our support extends to include police officers and their families experiencing challenging times in their lives. Our police family has grown to include not only families suffering from loss and grief, but those experiencing misfortune that require extra support. Our committment is to build on the care and support of serving and retired police officers and their families during times of tragedy and need with financial assistance, emotional support and networking opportunities so they are never forgotten. http://www.policelegacynsw.org.au/
